Before I head off to the Samba, I thought I would see if anyone local would be interested in my 56 Oval. Most of you are familiar with it. It has never been restored, is a numbers matching car, and runs like a deer. Back early in its life, it was in a minor accident. The hood and the passenger fender were replaced with parts not original to the car. The hood that is on it is a 3 tab. The passenger fender is an OEM bullet fender but a later year model (the hump at the bottom of the fender is missing). I have a correct fender and also several 4 tab hoods that will go with the car. There is some slight damage to the passenger side inner fender wall. I also have some pop out windows for the car along with all necessary new rubber and hinges to install them. I put all new tires on it about two years ago. I have added a reserve fuel switch and a correct era OEM roof rack. I have a few other miscellaneous items that I will throw in.

Pictures below. Price drop to 8500.00. Right now, I am pretty firm with that price as VW's like this one are getting really hard to find.

This was the car of my dreams so I hate to think of me not having it. My current circumstances are very fluid right now. If no takers from around here, I may hold onto it.
