For your consideration is a 1966 Beetle speedometer date stamped 11-65. This speedometer has been completely cleaned lubricated, new colored indicator lenses installed and a brand new chrome bezel. No bulbs.

$60 plus shipping.

I don't try to make a bunch. Just something for me to do to help make some pocket change to help support my love for Beetle Bugs.

Do you restore them yourself? It looks really good.

I like to be careful using the word "restore." I like the word refurbish better. There were 3 speedometer with the car when I bought it. I researched what parts were available for speedometer and decided to see what was involved opening one up, cleaning it if needed, replacing the indicator light lens, * resetting the odometer and using some lithium grease on the gears. The only parts that brand spanking new are the chrome bezel and one of the rubber seals.

I saw one on eBay for $150 and I said to myself, "I can do that." That is except for asking $150 of course.

* I just did that one time to see if I could do it.
