I have installed some of them repops,..I didn't buy them ad didn't give a hoot,.it wasn't my car. I was just doing the install and welding for someone else.
I was really impressed with how sturdy they were,.. :lol:
But for my bug i will go with higher quality,..

thats how I roll :mrgreen:

BBQ_Chris, That's what I figured out after enough people told me to go with it, when you say spline do you mean the support piece that is on the back edge right in front of the axle, and with all the pieces weld in I was pretty happy and am sure once the body is on and supporting the outside edge I will be much more relaxed.

I am one of those people that even if it is done "pretty good" and no one will ever notice it will still drive me crazy, but I'm gonna shut up and not let that bug you good people.
