Is this legitimate or a scam? Not that I'm looking to use them but I would at least think they could recognize a Type 1 when they see it. |

well it is Brazil.. it seems things are much different there than we are used to.. like 1978 split window buses .. and corner windowed Bay buses.. totally normal for them but odd for us.. terminology of type 1 may mean something else also in his world based on buses early or late? or something else altogether.. ???? |

Bus guy's should know what the T1 stands for T1 and T2 does not mean Type 1 and Type 2 T1 is first generation 1950-67 T2 is second generation 1967-79 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Type_2 now take into consideration that Brazilian VW's are a few years behind US. Hence the later models are still T1's Kind of like Freddy's 68 looks just like our 67 |
