They had it under control it seemed to me until at the end. It seemed to be a flood of people just started swarming the cars.

i agree they had it under control until the end, there was just way to many people they wouldn't have been able to control it if they tried. I really think they need to find a better location. If My cars were nicer or if i had a car as nice as what Billy's is going to be, i hate to say there is no way I would bring it to that show, like I said it was a great show up until the very end.

it was a good show. i think the "security" if thats what you want to call us worked pretty well, but as mentioned, the last hour just went crazy with people. i defintiey worked harder in the last hour or so, than i did the rest of the show before that. i literally walked blisters on me feet making circles and got dizzy it seemed turning back and forth. i talked to trandy about shortening the show about two hours, so it is winding down before the major portion of people show up to the flea market. i think trophies by one would be about right for that show and avoid alot of that. most people understand that with that type of public show there will be people touching, it just really gets over the top for me when someone opens or gets inside of one, which it did happen a few times, even right in front of the cars owners. thats why i would never display my car with the doors open at a public show, only a paid event. to be honest, i seriously doubt the show will get moved as traders village really works with the club very well. but the club is aware of everyones concerns and makes an effort to address those issues. heck my mom showed up at the show the last couple of hours, just to hang out for a lil while and helped me yell at people

One of the reasons we never go to this show. We saw a lady hit a lowered bug once with a baby carriage and she walked away like she did not hit it. We had a kit car in the show and the only way to open the door you had to push the lever down and then pull the door. We were at the awards ceremony and saw these 3 guys trying to pull our door off trying to open it up. I almost lost my voice screaming at them to let go of the door. We have vowed never to go to this show ever again just for these reasons.

This is a Trade Show and people are there for one reason to find bargins. They do not care about show quailty cars and think it's a dealership that they can just sit and do whatever they like in your cars. If you prefer that than the show is for you. If we know you and you want to look in our cars that's one thing. If a stranger walks up and starts pulling on things and grabing things that don't belong to them we do get upset. I think they'd be upset if you walked out to the parking lot and opened their doors and started fooling around with their stuff in their cars, but they think this is a show that they can do what ever they like with your cars.

Someone told me at the Night show that the year before someone had a VW Thing there.
They had their doors laying next to the car and some people walked up and grabbed the doors and walked off. The Security caught them before they left. I even have seen someone lift a camera out of a car there once. Moral of the story leave your valuables at home. The club is nice and cool, but that's not a place to leave your doors and windows open. If you walk away from your vehicle your on your own if something gets stolen. That's a place where you need to camp out at your vehicle and not leave it.
