i would suggest that crankshaft goes to the local club meetings to introduce yourself and the show. believe it or not, there are still quite a few that dont use the forums.

Bay Area VW Club
Thursday, November 6th at Las Hadas Mexican Restaurant at 2428 Center St. in Deer Park. The time is 6:30pm for those that would like to eat before and 7pm for those just there for the meeting.

I know some of you were asking about camping also.... there is a really nice park located really close to the show! Been going there since I was a kid, they have tent camping and RV hookups but you have to reserve your spot so here is the website with the info:

that is a kool park...if it is the one im thinking of it even has a small concrete bowl for skate boarding...i have not been in years so im unsure if its still there

Looks like I'm going to work again this weekend. i won't be able to make it

anybody heard what is going on, on sat....i hear the car show is sun what is sat just a gathering from 0900 to 400

I guess since it is a 2 day show .. Sat could be a travel day and settle in day. I would bet most would come out Sunday... my .02 thoughts

I think they plan on playing games. Like milk chugging I think I will pass.
