Looks like DLK had a great time. Is this David guy aware of the TexasManxClub site?

Gary can be a little harsh but underneath he is nice. he let me roam the front where the supers and the Ghias are. I named off several parts I needed and he gave me a price. I looked shocked and he said, " take it or go buy it aftermarket, I'm not cheap but I have what you need.". I did nt have enough with me so I went back the next week and got everything I wanted and a few extras for a little more money. And yes when I came back the next week he threw the list at me and told me to gt out. He thought I was using to get more from him for the price he quoted. We talked a few minutes and we were good again.

in speaking with him he told me he has been at that location since 84, however, I remember buying parts for my 73 there prior to that. maybe previous owner.

on another note, Gary's dad has a warehouse full of VWs west of Houston. Someone we all know has been there but he would not give any specifics.

I am not sure but I am hoping he signs up on here and can check that site out as well.

looks like we will be having one up there in March.

I think I had more fun cruising around to nowhere, just stop when we wanted and go from there, plans are overrated when it comes to cruising.
