i had a good time it was my cars maiden voyage it took an hour and 20 minutes from the house to the show...long trip for me but after i put gas in the car all was good....i left the house and the car was running bad but i figured i could figure it out....2 miles after leaving the house i figured it out...i was stranded on the side of the road out of gas. the wife brought the gas can.. the starter is messing up so after push starting it...it ran great. cant figure out the starter...sometimes it works and sometimes nada...there is power to it, its new, but sometimes it just dont do anything...i think it might be a bad cyelenoid....ive taken it out and put it back in checking all the wires and it still acts up....

oh and for all that dont know i dont have a gas gage (its an oval thing) and yes i did try the reserve but since ive never had a reserve lever it of course was already on reserve.. i now know which way that little lever goes without a question...

I had a great time. Billy your car is beautiful, best one there for sure. Congrats on the great car and the award  Andrey, it was a fun cruise to the show  Evan, good seeing you. I'm glad we all somehow met up at the entrance the same time and rolled in together. Thanks Dave (Bay Area VW club) for putting the show together, I hope plenty of toys were collected for the kids.

I'm uploading pics now
