I got that feeling in my gut that it is going to a watercooler, They could all be aircoolers except one watercooler and it would still win.

what the hell is the deal with VW bailing on their heritage, except when they brought the new beetle out, It seems that even though Ford, Chevy, (and maybe Chrysler) have no issues with showing roots even if only for a dollar, you'd think VW would sit back and take notice.

so does anyone know the official word on the meeting place before the "show". was able to get the day off so i would love to meet up and cruise in with some other vw's.

I think we're leaving from Eric's shop... I guess we need to nail down the time etc. Eric, how long will it take to get from your shop to the VW dealer?

According to Google Maps, it's 12.5 miles, which should take about 18 min. So let's plan to leave at about 2 or so, so that way we have time for people to show up a bit late. How does that sound?

We can either take 518 down to Yost/Scarsdale through Pearland, or take the feeder of Beltway down to 45.

good deal. ive met eric and his wife and children, but havent got a chance to check out his shop.
ill be there right around 2.
if anyone was interested in cruising to the kemah/target get together let me know. i live directly on the way and was planning on grabbing a bite before heading down there. see everyone sat

Man this bites.. I have to work this weekend so unless I kick my guys arsses to get it done then I might make it.. Hey Brian are you guys still planning on that thinga ma bobber afterwards...

Im going to Billy's buddy at Pinemont autosalvage to pickup my sunroof.. Im getting tired of running from the rain....
