the dates are a little late in the year because of it being the rainy season here but i say the location because you need somewhere for camping on the same site...i think you would draw a lot more of a crowd if there was camping...hell i might even camp out..

i like the idea of a show late in the year because there is realy nothing else going on its just that you realy have to watch the weather late in the year.. maybe early fall when its not realy hot and has not gotton cold yet

What about doing it in old town spring? There are other car shows there during the year, why not a vw one? The wives would get a chance to go shopping etc...There is food also. There wasn't much "charm" in the dirt parking lot of a drive in theater in the middle of nowhere. What ever happens I am going to go to the next show.

north houston vw does a show in old town spring and it does not draw very many people.i do like old town spring though and would enjoy a show there..still say you need camping that way people can come from all over..just like the classic..look into a park that way there will be things for the kids to do too

I agree with a two day show you are going to need to find a better spot to draw the out of town crowds. Ill be there again this year.

a park with camping probably wouldnt be a bad idea, although the movie theater didnt bother me. maybe in october would be good. little earlier than all the holidays. camping will def help bring the bus guys out and is a cheaper alternative to a hotel for the out of towners.
