The show was awsome. I'm the guy that got ditched at the gas station on the cruise home  I had no idea where I was going  Somehow I ended up on I-10 and started going east. I put 850 miles on my Super, knowing very little about VW's and buying the Super in non-running condition I think thats pretty good. I had alot of bugs on the windsheild though.

Woa...got ditched  :bs: ???? It was pretty hard not to keep up with me (the leader of the pack with the 56) ;) 8-) .

We kept looking back for ya and someone said you took a left  out of the gas station instead of a right. We thought your appetite took over since you were asking when we were going to eat, right before we pulled out.

Sorry that you somehow missed us turning right out of the station.

Nah I turned right and pushed the 1600dp to the limit lol. I couldn't find you guys, I ran into a red light and cut over once to the left and then to the right to main street. and still couldnt find you guys.

We did feel bad that you were left behind but really thought that you decided to get something to eat. Those stop lights in town were killers. I know I would have felt uncomfortable if I were not in a group for such a long ride home.

 it's all good. I had Lucy to keep me company. I still don't know why I even installed a cd player in my SB, I can't stop listening to the sweet sound my 1600dp makes when putting up hills with walls on both sides or a car next to my tailpipes. I made the trip all the way to Fredericksburg solo to find no hotels and then drove to San Antonio ... Then back to Fredericksburg. The sounds of all those ACVW's was like going to the Opra for a woman I can assume.
