Thats right it is, I may have to show at Kingwood so I can have a chance at an award, LOL Vw's are tuff competition. I went to a show more focused around domestics a few weeks back, and because there were only 3 domestics there, I placed haha.

Yesterday was Spring 2012 Kingwood Car show. Probably about 60 cars, a few hundred people, and some vendor booths. Here is the 1960 Bug that was restored, the 1955 VW Bus, and the two Lambos, which I did like... Enjoy!

Doug,

They usually have two a year, one in the spring and one again in the fall, around the 2nd weekend in October.

This was a good show with some nice looking vehicles attending. The 1960 bug was in a class for 60 to 64 year cars and won 1st in class beating out several other cars, 2nd went to a early Corvette. You got to love it when a Volkswagen wins against other manufacture cars :). They usually don't get the respect they deserve!! This was a nice car and shows well...

That Bug won 1st place? That is way too cool! It was very nicely done and clean. I wish I could have heard it run...
