whats up guys h0ws everybody been? i havent been on the board in a while.. well ive been working on setting up a multi club cruise to Galveston/bolivar next month, i still do not have the full details worked out but i will by the end of next week...

my idea is having each club i.e DLK you guys get together and pick a spot for you to meet and the same thing with all the other clubs then we all meet in one central location and head down to galveston.. i have been in contact with BAVWC and ERKULD for them to meet in one spot off 45 so we can meet up with them as well.. and everyone just roll in together..

This is mainly to get all clubs together and unite our small VW community set any bad bood there has been aside and RIDE! im thinking cruising the seawall all through Galveston heading to the fairy possibly heading to bolivar some other clubs are wanting to do a camp trip for that night, so that is an option as well.. we can roll through have lunch somewhere whatever stopp at some bars and have a couple ...

I think this is a great idea. I can't commit until it gets closer but if we can go we will.

First off the VW community in Houston is not small, In fact if you got everyone together at one time that would be a huge GTG.

Second off Until the day comes when DLK is no longer BANNED from your open forum I will not be attending any DHK event. The only BAD BLOOD as you say was started by YOUR club. Now I will say that I do not speak for the club as a whole when I say this. Just my opinion. Other than your Club banning us from your forum there is no BAD BLOOD between DLK and other clubs. WE have NOT banned any DHK members from our forum.

I'm with Ethan on this. I woke one morning to find I was banned for an unknown reason. Change the ban Gabe put in motion if you want support from Dlk.

Agree! DHK (Gabe) has pulled some real chicken shit moves, don't know how much support you will get.

There are alot of VW guys in Houston and it would be fun to get as many as possible together to cruise. As far as bad blood goes, I don't think anyone around here has any problems with other clubs.

well i understand what you guys are saying completely, and gabe is no longer president of DHK Preston is now Ethan i know he has tried to reach out to you in the last week i believe.. i dont agree with what gabes actions were but were trying to move forward from whatever was set from that.. ive known most of you guys for close to a year now and i think you guys are cool people .. i just think as a whole (community) this could turn into something EPIC.. to see 50 plus vws driving down 45 into galveston would be sick! i will get on top of lifting any ban that was set on our board, i dont see that being very mature in any aspect we are all grown ass men... well i hope to see some if not all at the cruise..
