Post subject:  Vw gatherings.
Jason Wallace asked me to post this up. He has found a vw dealership that will allow a gathering at their place on the first Friday of every month, starting this April 4, 2014.
The dealership will allow people to start showing up 6:30 pm until close.
The location is Archer VW their address is
10400 Southwest Fwy, Houston
Which is just north of the beltway on the south bound side.
Before anyone asks I have no more info than what I just posted. I have never been there and do not know if there is food places in walking distance.
Support your local vw gatherings and the people trying to keep it alive.

The dealer that has the show is Clear Lake VW, I believe.

very cool... Although Doug.. have you been to this dealership before and do they have food either at the place or near by maybe within walking distance?? :?:

knowing friday traffic in the area, I would highly suggest taking some route other than 59 to get there. Friday traffic lets up about 7:30.

RedJames, however, should have a short easy drive...

DeMondrond VW (with the North Houston VW Club) and Clear Lake (no club affiliation) are the dealers that have shows. Clear Lake may not have any more since the guy that drove it has left. We'll see.
