Is anyone headed to this event?

I'm rolling out early Thursday 8/21, and back home on Sunday.

Kostya has all kinds of crap piling up on him, Eliot has a business trip conflict, and ScottyV has a family trip committment.

Not in the cards for me either ... going to the Spill-out in SA, I guess the next weekend.

I'll be there with my '87 Vanagon... A bay window owner named Alex told me about this Eureka Springs show while we were at Dubsplash so we've decided to make the trip and check it out!

It was HOT! I think the humidity was just as high as it is down here

Good show as usual. I think there were 250 cars entered in the show, and it sure seemed like quite a few more running around that probably didn't enter. Lots of folks camp at a nearby lake.

A nice 15-window Deluxe got Best of Show. I got 2nd in the truck/commercial class. There were 12 trucks i think.

Swap was very good. I bought a few things, but could've gone crazy buying up all kinds of good stuff that I wanted, but really don't need right now.

I drove all day yesterday and made it all the way home. Logged 1250 miles total, and only added 1/2 qt of oil..... couldn't be happier with the way that bus is treating me. Long hard day, but it was nice to be home.
