Nice Pictures Ben..

Ths show was fun. The locals were raising funds for The Roman Forest 2009 fire works. There was a hot dog decorating contest and other events throughout the day. The red Ford coupe took Best In Show. As you can see, there were a few really nice cars down there. I didn't place in the top 3 but my VW's got a lot of attention. In all there were 4 Beetles there. I drove my 66 down to the park and then walked back to the house to get my 56. Pat was out of town so I was a one man band.

I got to meet a lot of neighbors and learn about Roman Forest. I did not even know about all of the pictures until I was sitting in my old bosses office today and we were talking about Roman Forest. He pulled up the web site these pictures were on in the process of trying to get some information about Roman Forest. I did not even know the town had a web site. Well, anyhow we saw all the pictures and I thought I would share.

There were about 30 cars there at one time. They must of like my VW's .

The Smart Car was funny to see there. That morning I had checked out the U-Tube video about putting the big motor in them, that Paul posted. All I could imagine was seeing this Smart car doing donuts in the local parking lot .
