Thanks. The only problem with the shifter is trying to find an original handle and boot. So I went ahead and picked up the flat 4 versions so I can use it. :|

Yes it goes on the hood. I am not quite sure if there is a specific spot that it is supposed to go, or just wherever you like it. When I get closer to paint time I will find out. ;)

well this was the first one I had seen and didnt understand how it went but I seen one on the samba and it looked cool they had it towards the front where it starts to go down and it looked bad azz in my opinion anyway my g/f didnt care for it but I loved it
