Out in Florida last week on business and spotted a few VWs rolling around. Followed them till they stopped and got some shots. Nice Diamond Green 56, black 67, and the vanagon was on Audi wheels with a subaru engine. The 56 had a 1776 that sounded real good.

Unfortunately the rags on both the bugs weren't original (the owner of the oval did them both) nor were the VW stamped semi's on the oval (also done by the oval owner) but they looked like they were done pretty well. Real nice guys, hung out till we were done snapping shots and chatting them up

Whats wrong with the rags and semis not being original to the car? How would you know if he did not tell you?

Not saying there is anything wrong, just would have been a little more rare to see a euro-ragtop-oval. And I might be wrong but I thought original VWs with semi's didn't have turn signals on the fenders?
