I'll do my best to get some more information on it. The guy that apparently owns it is never around, so I haven't been able to find out if he'd sell it, or what he would want for it. I'll keep you all posted if I can gather anything else on it.

If anyone will be headed out West on I-10 at least as far as Sealy, let me know. If you're interested, I can tell you exactly where it is and how to get to it.

How's it going Brian?

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it back out there this week and hunt down the owner of the Fastback. I wanted to go ahead and send you a little map I did...just in case you want to track it down this weekend. Coming from Houston, you can go 1 of 2 ways: take I-10 to Sealy, take 1094 from Sealy to New Ulm...or, you can take 10 all the way to Columbus, then take 109 from Columbus to New Ulm. If you mapquest New Ulm, it should tell you to go one of those 2 ways. The map I've attached shows right about where the car is sitting just off the side of the road on Houston St. You can't miss it. My cell number is below in case you get lost or something...don't hesistate to call.

On another subject, I know you build engines, but do you do any sort of cylinder head work (porting, polishing, port matching intakes, etc)? Thanks man!

Thanks man! I'll see if my wife wants to go look at it this weekend.

On the topic of heads, so far all I'm set up to do is valve replacement, valve lapping, replacing valve springs, and port matching of manifolds. In the hopefully not too distant future though I will be able to replace valve guides and cut seats, and at that point I will probably start doing some mild port work. Let me know if I can help you.
