fuel tank

I have a question, how do i remove the fuel tank on my 1971 vw bus to put a new one in?

you have to pull the motor out to get to the tank

Ethan is right. Pull the engine. There is a firewall with lots of screws. Unscrew them, don't forget the screws that come from underneath. Once you get that off, there are two straps holding the tank in place. get those unhooked, unhook the fuel line and the filler hose, and wiggle it outta there.
