Thanks guys, Good info..... I am hoping I get to cleaning everything up today, but I have a feeling it will be tomorrow.

I use Oven Cleaner on the baked on stuff.. Heads -cases what not..

I have found some discoloring based on length of time left..
You also have to make sure you get the real stuff..!! and work in a ventilated area while spraying.

I use it to clean carbon build up off pistons and the chambers of heads.. It will work super good..
I use glove and a tooth brush and rinse them in my parts cleaner. which has mineral spirits..

I only spray where needed for now.. and haven't gotten to crazy with long wait times..
10-20 minutes or so..

It also is awesome to cut through newer paint jobs and get back to OG paint.. Oven cleaner steel wool
and buffing afterwards is awesome..
