Thanks! She's been sitting up for a lonng time.
Motor in it right now is a 2275cc, with a single 44 EMPI carb.
The motor was built to drag, I swapped out the cam when I purchased the motor.
Tried to tone her down a bit... for practical driving. Plus, gas ain't cheap these days!

Yup, I am surprised... but not shocked. I must have left some of my VW impressions on you back in the day. ;)
Fast forward 12 years later... Some of your old Chevy influence must have rubbed off on me... 8-)

I had to get a 'grocery getter' while my VW was down and out... So I bought the last 02 SS.
