Newb here...Dennis aka 54ovsemi...It's been a while since my last VW, but happy to say back in the scene. My first VW was a 1983 GTI I bought brand new from SW FRWY VW. From that moment on I was "hooked". During a Surf trip to Socal in 1984 I discovered the Cal Look and from that point I Decided I wanted one. I found a 1964 bug here in the Houston area and started my first VW project. I joined the Houston VW club back in the day and had lots of fun, did all the shows and even placed in my class at Houston Autorama in 1985. The Houston VW club represented pretty damn well back then....Well after owning several VW's I kinda got lost from the car scene. I recently picked up a 1954 Euro Semaphore Oval. It's gonna take sometime to do this one, but it will be done right!!
