Hello, My name is Brad and I live southeast of Houston almost to Galveston. Last year I bought a 74 Super from a guy in Arlington, Tx. It turned out to be a little gem for the price I paid. I have worked on it non-stop since then and now am currently addicted to all things air cooled. I work as a firefighter for the City of Galveston so I have lots of time to work on my bug. I do all my own work on my car because I was a mechanic before becoming a firefighter. I am a new owner but a long time fan of VW's. I would like to one day find a 65 or earlier bug to completely restore. Right now I settle for driving my Super to the fire station every third day. I'd would like to get out into the VW community and make some friends and connections.
