hi all , name is rudy.

i wish i had a nice daily driver bug. curretly looking to revive my love for beetles by finding a nice bug i can drive to work. i learned to love these cars in high school at 17 when my dad bought me a 64. it ran good, breaks sucked, had them fixed ( too much of a noob to do anything)... drove it for one summer... then i went to college. dad lost his job, sold the car sitting at his house for some months cause money was needed... now, i am old! almost 9 years later, i can probably buy what i've been wanting forever, forever, forever. (still a noob) i like this site, i'ts cool - first time going to the classic this weekend too - ok, i talked to much now. i'll be lurking mostly

thanks! i'll definately look for you guys there. I'll be snapping tons of pics too. I am looking for a 65 and under that runs good (not mechanically inclined) that i can drive everyday. Cheap too, since i don't have tons of money. Thanks again and nice to "meet" all of you - Rudy

It might be an option to buy a running engine, sometimes you can find them cheap, then find a car with no engine, also, they are sometimes cheap. Then you find someone to help you install the engine. You can easily do that for under 2k and have a respectable daily driver.
