Hi,

My name is Mike and I am a Volksaholic. But I'm OK with that and don't need any help with change.

[ Except Large Donations to the KdF or Schwimmwagen Fund would be accepted / appreciated ]

It's been nice meeting lots of you folks on some cruise nights, shows, and at Eric's shop. I

hang around Chuck and Paul a lot I got into VWs heavilly because my Dad bought a new

Aug 63 1963 built 1964 L-87 Perl Weiß / Red interior Delux. It was just about Perfect until it was parked ca.

1986 due to a Major Timing Problem caused by the #3 rod/piston trying to share some of the

same points in time and space as the crankcase roof.. Now it needs major help from sitting for

years in the humidity and weather. When I read Small Wonder by Walter Henry Nelson, I instantly

became a WW2 VW fan and decided that I wanted to own one of the 10 or 100 Oldest VW Beetles in the

World or one like a Schwimmwagen

Mike / pics later hopefully

Thanks everyone.

I was too tired to try to put pics up last night. I'll get some before too long.

Mike
