YO......new guy here from Arlington ! just picked up my 3rd beetle, a 66 :) looking forward to getting more knowledge, learning along the way and maybe some help in getting this thing nice and purtty!! by purrty i mean lowered... faster...and a driver... dont plan on touching the original (kinda) paint. runs and drives great as is, PO put in a Kennedy clutch, had motor built to a 1641 by Lyle Cherry 15K miles ago..quick shift kit.. weber progressive :( etc etc .. gave me all receipts.. By the way, name is James, 35, implant from San Diego, got 2 girls,3 and 10 and a BOY on the way (fuggin finally!!!) nice to meet y'all!!

Welcome! That thing will look like a badass driver with a narrowed beam and a good drop.

cool born in Los angeles but moved to san diego when i was a kid.. Lived in north park, el cajon/santee... la mesa is where i lived the longest and was when we moved here
