My name is george. I live in mesa az. Ihave a 68 bug My daughter has 78 bus and a 69 bug. she got the bug bite from me. she recentley went to the buggarama thisw past week end. Just checking in to see what's out there. |

To add a photo, easiest way is to attach a photo to the post. When you're typing up the post, just below where you press the 'submit' button, there's a heading that says 'upload attachment'. Press the 'choose file' button under that. Then choose your file from your computer. Once it has loaded press 'add the file'. Then press submit when you're all done. |

Hello, My name is Randy and I live in Atascocita, Texas. I have met many of you at shows throughout Texas over the last several years but never gave a formal introduction on your forum. I have been in and out of the show scene since the mid 80's. I started off with custom mini trucks and have had many modified vehicles since, 4 of which have been VW's. I have owned a 1966 Hard Top Beetle, 1969 Crankback Sunroof Beetle, 1960 Sunroof Beetle and currently 1960 Ruby Red Sunroof Beetle. I am the second longest owner of this car since it had been put together in its current condition. It was originally done by one of my good friends' friend Shawn. Since I have taken ownership of this vehicle I have made many changes to get it to the condition it is in now. I have completely detailed the motor and engine bay, freshened up the interior and stripped the undercarriage and recoated it. I replaced the running boards and added split window trim to tie in with the profile of the wheels. I have added several accessories to the car and have plans for more improvements to the car. I did not completely build this car, in reality almost everyone's car was someone's car before, but with the help of family and good friends I am transforming it into the car I wanted.
