Greetings fellow petrolheads.

My name is Tom Lorenzen, I'm from germany and I stumbled across this forum a while back.

Im a 24 year old student of Technical Translations here in germany, and i drive a 1988 vanagon wich you can see here:

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3064

with vanagons comes bugs, with bugs aircooled. Luftgekühlte Motoren.

I was hooked when i visited the "maikäfertreffen" in Hannover last year, on the 1st of may. 200+ aircooled engines waiting in idle to enter the expo area of 2000. man. what a sound.

so, i hope you don't mind when i browse around a little bit, make a remark here and there.

Oh and feel free if you need spare parts or translations, i'd be happy if i can help. :)

well thats a really warm welcome for a change.. i was afraid i'd be a castout cause i do not on an aircooled. :)

very very good things to see here, i really do like what you do with these cars...
