Hi, I'm Rene`
I'm from killeen, Tx but im currently stationed at Ft, Lewis, Wa. V Dubs have been in my family for as long as i can remember. I currently own a 65 & 66 bug and a 73 thing. I cant wait to get back to TX. Here are somre pics. My 66 i have owned for 5yrs. I am curreently putting it back together with a strictly foreign 1776 and freeway flyer transmission. Due to multiple iraq deployments i have not been able to finish it. Paint and interior will be next. My 65 i bought a few months ago. It has some rust issues but the price was right. Shes my daily driver for now. The 73 thing I bought for my wife because she wanted a "jeep"! Found it up in canada. I had franklins do a lowering job and we slapped on some 17" BRMs.

Just incase anyone is one is wondering what 66 "volky" means. Volky is what V dubs are called on Puerto Rico.....
