This type of distributor causes everthing from carbon build-up to flat tires.

Carbon build up???? That's just silly.... although I do see the flat tire deal...and I also heard they cause issues with the interior dome light..?? but who knows??

Forgot to mention I am in Cypress, TX. (290/1960 area). Here are some photos of my Ghia the day I bought it and about a month ago. Was hoping to finish it early next year but I don't think that is realistic working alone in my garage so maybe by the end of next year.
