Hello all,
My name is Alec but everyone calls me Goose. I currently reside in Phoenix, AZ and am friends with PsychoSquirrel (Jeff). I've been into air-cooleds since I was a kid and my first car was a 1970 Beetle. I've been a member of Negative Camber for the last 15 years, mostly building minitrucks or old rods. We recently lost one of our founders, Courtney Halowell, and that prompted me to get back to my true love of air-cooled vw's. I just picked up a 1962 Beetle Ragtop that is a project. Once I get some pics I will post.

I'm interested in becoming a member of DLK.

Absolutely. Just waiting to pick up the car which will be sometime in the next two weeks.

I'll also be out that way in Conroe, Tx Feb. 24-26 for the Lone Star Throw Down. My friends Radar and Lonnie are putting it on and it is the Negative Camber 20 year reunion. Hope I can meet some of you guys (and gals) in person when I am out there. I will be driving my Jeep out there with about 100 other vehicles and car haulers.

Anyone around Conroe?

I've not met any of the AZ guys out here except for Jeff. My understanding is that they are either not active or no longer in. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
