Hey from Bulverde, TX

Hi,
Heard about DLK, took a look and found this to be a friendly group of folks who are passionate about there dubs and not a group focused on making quick $s on flips.

I bought a stock 1-owner 72 SB a year and half ago--it was really solid and did/does not need much and now is my daily. A couple months after I got the SB, one of my employees sold me his 68 Ghia (hidden in his garage for 16 yrs). I got the 2016 cc running & wife fell in love with it, so we got her a 73 Ghia (1776cc w/2 Kads) a few months later so she'd leave my 68 Ghia alone. Learned a lot in the past 18 months--going from only knowing how to chg a battery to pulling engines, heads, brakes, suspension, electrical, etc. I still have a lot to learn, hope you are willing to deal with my frequent episodes of ineptitude. And hope I can reciprocate (I have a knack for electrical stuff--EE by trade) with my silly 2 sense.

Welcome Jerry! Those look like 3 nice cars. Thanks for the intro. We have a DLK chapter in Austin, not sure how far that is from you, but its good to see more folks from the San Antonio area.
