Hello all,
My name is Jeff Stern, been interested in air cooled VWs all my life.Living here in Conroe area.My dad had a microbus in the 60s, that's what he called it,and that's what started my interest in VW's. I got my first beetle when I was 19 or so ? A 64 from the original owner, about a couple of years later I got teeboned in it and that was the end of it. After I got married and some kids later I got a 74 Super, for a daily driver. Witch my youngest son has now, never restored it but always kept running. (except for no reverse).Now I have two more VW's a 72 Super and a 71 Notch. My wife drives a 2014 Passat that she loves. In the future will be looking for a Type II.
