I was trying to think of a cost effective way to make a oil cooler to fit my bike and was thinking a air cooled vdub engine oil cooler would be perfect to make into one. So if anyone has an extra laying around let me know. Thanks.

Not trying to be a smart azz but wouldn't a Harley forum be a better place to go looking for answers about a Harley?

is that a different bike from the first picture you posted?

oh and welcome to the world of broken harleys ;) be sure to loctite the hell out of every nut and bolt you remove from that bike. there is nothing like that $12.00 chrome cap nut rattling off and hearing it hit the wheel and shoot off somewhere right after you ordered them in because the planet of chrome that is harley davidson does not stock them. i speak from experience.

with all that said, i hope you get it fixed soon, as those short wheel base buells are fun to ride.

No its the same bike from the picture but had to change alot of parts once it got hit.

And I absolutely love the bike, its the last of their TubeFrame bikes before harley took over again the S-1 were still built by Ericson Buell. Anyways thanks for the tip, I actually had forgotten to loctite a few things haha. Thats also how i lost the black air cleaner you see in the first picture.

Swing arm was busted and that type are very hard to come by, the one in the first picture had a oil tank in the arm but broke when it was hit, the tank is actually the same just a dark picture and very dirty. but it does had a different air cleaner on it now. pipes were also damaged so ended up wrapping the entire pipes to hide the damage.

And from the angle of the first picture you cant see the "Buell American Motorcycles" emblems on the tank.
