Some of you know, I have this old pickup.





I removed the 'FORD' letters from the hood and the 'Courier' emblem from the tailgate. They are chrome with black trim. However, the black trim has flaked off over the years. I want to repaint it. Any suggestions how to do it? The chrome lettering is in good shape, so i don't want to sand that, just repaint the black trim.

Yes, remember to shake the can real well before you spray!

Steady hand with tape and an Exacto knife. Wait till spring so the paint will dry

Not sure about the paint, but that truck brings back a ton of memories from my childhood a summer spent traveling, my dad bought a ford courier pick with a camper top and we went to the grand canyon, mount rushmore etc... Good times!
