Well, had a rough day at the track last weekend. My buddy came up short and cased a double and it bounced him weird. He got whiskey throttle and shot straight into me. he came out with worse injuries, but my bike got a hole punched in the engine cover. Could have been a lot worse though!!!

My buddy is the one filming. i am on the Kawasaki (green bike)

Is that Three Palms? If so the track sure has changed over the past 8 yrs. Sorry to hear about your bike but glad to hear you are OK. Three Palms ended my riding hobby back in 2003. I didn't fair so well after my spill.

That is 3 palms. it has changed a lot just in the past couple years. They now have the main track, River track, Supercross track, GP track, woods track and Area 51. They also have 3 kids tracks now. That was the River track I went down on. Luckily it is very sandy and soft.

I did not get hurt bad. When he hit me his right foot peg punched a hole in my left side engine case and I lost most of the oil. Luckily the bike died when it hit the ground. There is a small knick on the sealing face of the case. Going to file it down and see if it will seal to the new cover.

I did work on my Beetle yesterday when i got home from National Guard duty and nobody slammed into me! ;)

Back when I road all they had was the Supercross track and and what I guess is what they call the river track although it wasnt really a track back then and all that road the back track was 4 wheelers. I have known a lot of people who have gotten hurt on the SC track when it was first built it was majorly aggressive. Is the track in Splendora still open? My favorite track to ride was the Cycle Ranch in Floresville. Back then that dirt was so nice and loamy. funny thing is I hate camping but I have slept at that track many of Saturday nights.

Splendora is still open, but I do not think it is as good as it was back when you rode. Cycle Ranch is still very well known. I have never made it out there though. We stick to 3 Palms, Rio Bravo and Ultimate MX.
