I guess I did not see this in the pictures. If this is the case then my statement becomes just jibberish. Continue on with this fine garage makeover.

Hmm I was under the understanding the reason it has 2"X 12" Joist on 12" centers was due to the garage apartment option. wouldn't decking it with 3/4" plywood tie them together. most garages only have 2" X 6" joist on 18" to 24" centers

I am not sure why or how you read into my post and got that I was being a smartass.

I said as a response to his post

Hmm I was under the understanding the reason it has 2"X 12" Joist on 12" centers was due to the garage apartment option. wouldn't decking it with 3/4" plywood tie them together. most garages only have 2" X 6" joist on 18" to 24" centers

Im not sure why you think I am a smartass. I even asked Brian if decking it would tie them together. and the "Hmm" is a curious Hmm.

It went over my head too  Yes the plywood would tie it all in. But I think if really plan to load up the warehouse you should still brace the joists, but thats me. Check out Garage Journal dot com for all kinds of nifty ideas.
