I won't put tool up on the wall cuz peolpe can drive by see it. U dont want peolpe break in your garage snice you have a window door. :hillbilly: I watch too much on tv show back then about how to rob the house. Forgot the name of show,

I dont think the windows in the garage amount to anything. I have the same door on my house as well. If a theif wants to get into your house or garage nothing not even an alarm will help these days. In fact I was just reading an article the other day that they said the best home defense these days is hidden HD cameras with motion detectors. They communicate via the internet.

I agree with the hidden cameras..

internet based camera systems. You have cameras and a DVR at your place. You can access them with an internet connection.

Well I am really stumped. I am trying to wire the indoor unit so that I can run the wires with the lineset, and in the instructions their are no wire diagrams of the indoor unit. under the section for wiring the indoor unit it says to refer to Figure 13 for wiring. Well Figure 13 is the outside unit wiring diagram and all it shows is that panel. I went ahead and opened the inside unit up and this is what I found.
Image

The wires that was sent with the unit are clearly marked
Ground- Green
S- White
L1- Red
L2- Black
Image

This is figure 13

I am thinking S-White is going to go to N(1)
L1-Red to 2
L2-Black to 3

I feel real stupid I should not have paid any attention to the markings on the wires. On the indoor unit I have

N1 , 2 , 3 and G
on the outdoor unit I have
N1 , 2, 3 L1 L2 and G

I hooked all the N's together 1,2,and 3. on the outdoor unit the L1 and L2 are for the 220 in from the breaker

and my new wiring diagram with the colors i used

Well I got the inside unit mounted for good. all I have left is to cut the trim board and a little touch up paint.

Inner hole (I was an 1/8 from a stud)

outer hole

on this unit you can switch what side the drain hose comes out so I switched it. I also got the spring in place and ready to make the 90 degree bend down the wall.
Image

all that is left is making the bend, shorten the line set, and final hook up and vacuum. I steel need to pick up a nice lineset cover.

final install on inner unit.

Some of you may be wondering why I didnt put the trim board in the center. Well that was a slight screw up I did center and level the bracket using the seam where the two pieces of plywood come together. Only thing I did not check was the unit is offset to the bracket by 3 or 4 inches to the right, I noticed it after I first hung it on the wall. O well

Yep it would have been nice of them to say something about that in the instructions.
