I do have a non vw project I've been working on for a few weeks, I have to get this one done before I can get another VW; wife's orders!

It's a 1966 Apache aluminum bodied tent trailer, body size is about 5X6. I was going to get one of these to tow behind my bus and have it lowered and on bags but we all know how that went :oops:

Instead this one is going behind my jeep and beefed up to handle trails and forest service roads. Raised with trailing arm suspension, bags, shocks and 35" tires.

The tent was in really good shape; had it cleaned and treated.

Another update on the traile; frame mostly complete, still need to add upper bag mounts and skid rails for the sides and fenders.

Body stripped and cleaned up; body work started and test fitted the body on the frame.
