Been working on restoring my old garage fan. I love this fan and have been keeping it beside my chair, but Courtney thinks its ugly and I figured what the hell lets give it some new paint. Some before pictures I know its pretty ugly but it is super quiet and puts out a lot of air. I got this fan from my uncle about 10 yrs ago. It was bought new by his father in law. My uncle got it when his father in law passed away. more pictures coming |

thanks Doug got everything down to bare metal. their was 3 coats of paint on it over the years gave it a coat of sandable primer hit it with some 600 and put two coats of gloss black. still have to paint the base and install the new felt. It was missing the three rubber feet I am going to order them this week. along with some cloth covered wire to rewire it. |

I wasnt sure what to do with the manufacture badge. it is made of copper so you know it would shine up real nice, but I bet if i would have hit it with the buffing wheel I would loose all the lettering, So instead I spread some ketchup on it and let it eat away for about an hour. washed it off and this is what I got. Im happy with it. Before: After: |
