I made this shop bench about a year ago out of a 110 gallon aquarium stand that I tried to sell for over a year. I finally got tired of my wife nagging about it being in the living room and said screw it, so I made a work bench out of it.

Process shot: It has rolling/locking casters on it & I used the light canopy & part of the aquarium lights to frame in the pegboard and light the whole bench top up well.

Thanks, I used to really be into tropical fish & aquarium plants. At one time I had 8 tanks set up for breeding fish & growing fresh water aquarium plants in the garage. This was my show tank that was set up in the living room until one of the seams separated and commenced to leak 100 gallons of water onto the living room floor. After that episode, I decided i was done with aquarium for a while.
