Well, I decided to dig into a pesky oil leak. It requires removing the cam gears & chains to get to the leaky seal. It's all new to me, and it's fairly complicated, so I'm doing it at a Porsche shop in Seabrook. The guy is really cool, and let's me and Kostya do as much of the work as we can to keep the labor costs down. We dropped the motor/trans last Sat and got some parts on order. Gonna go back this Sat and try to get it all buttoned back up. |

We had a good day today on the 911. Replaced a gasket & o-ring on both timing chain covers, and reset cam timing on both cams. That was kinda nerve wracking :-/ Kostya did a nice job on cleaning up the wiring. The optional "One Squirrel Power" engine |
