If y'all could take a couple seconds out of your day to pray for good weather in the North East, I, as well as North Easterners would appreciate it. No pick up date in sight, and my Paypal and Ebay buyers protection starts dropping off 45 days after purchase. Just sayin... :bs:

I do have the title. Small Victory there...

If you said a little prayer yesterday, I thank you, new pickup date is Wednesday the 26th, probably looking at saterday or sunday delivery, since these transporters like to drive as straight through as possible. We'll see, my fingers are crossed

I did get some cool plates. I'm going to use the 999 set. the 998 set will be up for grabs

I'm still up in the air on wheels. So far, I'm leaning on these from Alex Magro. 4.5's as they should be, original finish, not polished or chromed, and "dart" detail instead of full "makeup". Not cheap...

yep, 4.5's all the way around like a '67 911s, and only a '67 911s would have had

65, 66, and 67 911's and 912's were all handbuilt. they have slab sided fenders, and usually, not always, nothing bigger than 4.5 will fit in the front (usually, because they were handbuilt, sometimes 5.5's will fit). for 65 and 66, all 911 and 912's came with 15x4.5 steel rims. 67 is when fuchs were intorduced, only 15x4.5 and only on 165H15's.

While many people use spacers, and 185/60's on 68 and later cars, I do like the skinny tire crab look. This is a doucumented original 38K mile car (at the time the picture was taken). Probably a $100K car now

Interesting info on the wheels, the '70 has 14x5.5" all around with a 185 tire. Fits the car perfectly!

yeah, you can fit a lot more under the fenders beacause of the flare. On the early early cars, the fender is part of the problem, the other part is if they are too wide, they rub the struts.
