I did nothing for others today :redguy: , but I finished up my inverter install:

Then cleaned up the huge mess of tools and electrical crap, busted out the shop vac and got all the nooks and crannies. Buffed out the wax that I had laid down before the low budget show. Interior looks fresh and clean again. European motorwerks still haven't sent me my "j pipes" (we don't call them that in the t4 world, thats a bug thing :?) so the car is still off of driver status. I did verify that it runs post megasquirt rewiring, and I also verified the inverter charges my laptop when the battery is dead.

I can confirm that the chum bucket stickers stay on the car @ 70+mph, I checked mine yesterday, it was good too.

Today I took it easy, finished up installing the second rear shock mount, while I was under there I verified 90% of my oil leaks are really coming from the tranny and the open breathers. I did notice my thermostat had a bolt missing and it was just hanging there. Locktite and I finally hooked it up . I also added a stack of washers to the bowden tube, my clutch should be a lot better. Monday my grade 8 shock bolts should be in...hopefully no moar whooptie :hillbilly:

nice! I do think they are rated for at least Gen light speed.. since my speedo goes to 90 then oil -blinker-and on to the gen light.. so I called it gen light speed.. :hillbilly: I assume that has to be the techincal term.. :? :P

On the actual work note.. this weekend was the baby shower.. so I had to be the "go getter" most of the weekend.

I did finish a port job on Dan's Bandito's not huge but they did turn out sexy!!

I set cam play and locked down the cam bolts on Eric's motor -waiting for the oil pump O rings to come in to button up the bottom end.. gonna have to take it to the lathe for a groove.. first time so we'll see how good I may be..

Did rear brakes on a Saturn Ion for a friend..that was the wierdest thing as the drum didn't come off -we had to pull the spindle and drum assembly out as a whole..but we did it.. one of those 1 hour long drivers side and 5 minute passenger side jobs.. it goes much faster when you know what to do..

Pulled my 40DRLAs apart gave them the cleaning of a life time.. everything is ready to go back together so that will be tonight.. I have some distributors to rebuild and a set 40idf's - along with 2 motors..

Does it ever stop?? I need some days off at my real job..

Finally got my motor in and running well for the most part, but I think I am doomed to be constantly tinkering with dual carbs...
