my 0.02c worth. As a firefighter and Forensics expert, Safety would be my concern! I don"t care what color they are just have some seat belts. Given your photos, the contrast is good and they would also look good in a color closer to the seats. You have done an awesome job with the rest of your car so I expect you will decide on something that will look great.

You could always dye them just a shade darker to take down the conrast.

What did you decide to do on the carb bodies?

I'm going black on everything, the copper ended up being a bust!! The liquid copper didn't look good. The chromer told me copper plating wouldn't look good down the road. So I'm gonna end up doing black and stainless. Carb bodies will be black as well as the fan shroud.

I think that'll look better anyway Did you really powder coat those? In the oven?

Yeah, I sucked it up and purchased an oven and setup to powdercoat. Did some pieces yesterday, had good results. Hopefully will finish up this weekend.
