Hey all,

I'm trying to locate a place that sells vintage Texas plates (preferably a 1961) for a decent price. I'm not looking for ones that have been repainted. I would like to find one with it's original wear and tear. On top of that, I'm hoping to find one that I can register to the car.

I'm not a big fan of the new Texas plates. The antique and the classic plate just looks to purdy and that ain't me. :hillbilly:

Anyone have any suggestions!??!

Thanks!

Man.....Concrete, I tried that Turner plates place a little over a year ago. I sent them multiple emails about the '61 plate that they have listed and I received nothing in return. :bs:

I'd like to know if anyone has received anything from them.

Dang Boom, I don't know why i didn't think of checkin' ebay....Good lookin' out! I'll try their. Thanks for the heads up

Be sure and get a set. You only need 1 on the car but it takes 2 to register.

I probably have a set of 61's at the house. I'll check when I get home.

How does this set look to you? I would not be able to register these as is here at the Clay rd office(they are D**ks) Depending on your luck and the court house you use you may be able to register them as they are. I would at least repaint the white part before trying though. $25 plus postage or pick up in Katy.
