I'm not on this site much, because I don't know anyone over here...But I do see some of the same folks on other sites such as the Air-Coolers site which I frequent more often because I have met some of those guys. In any case if you see me and my car at the Texas VW Classic this weekend or other shows or even on the road, please introduce yourself. I am always looking to meet new and old VW enthusiast. 9 Months ago, I started this project in my garage built the car myself and I didn't know a darn thing about VW's when I started. But I have the bug...that's for sure. It all started for me one day while walking through a parking lot....and seeing a lowered bug with whitewalls, roof rack, Empi wheels two tone paint all scuffed up and dirty looking etc."It was awesome. I looked at my wife and said "I'm gonna have one of those" And it was off to the races!

Thanks!
