Wow, this guy lived in the neighborhood near ours. My sons best friend lived right next door. We vacationed at the place he was killed today and shot on the range where they found him... Sad day :(

Chris Kyle was a super badass, 160 confirmed kills, reality they were well over 200+. I have served with many fellow soldiers who have PTSD and not once did think they would snap and hurt a fellow soldier, very tragic. RIP brother.

Dedicated and skilled servicemen like Chris Kyle are very few. His service and marksmanship will always be remembered and appreciated for years to come. Chris will be in the sniper records along with Carlos Hathcock of the Vietnam War.

Although highly skilled, that alone should not make a man famous. Had he not been so good at what he was assigned for, he very likely would still be alive today.

This movie is way over-rated. I watched it and the acting was far from being mediocre to good from an entertainment view-point. Putting a military sniper on a pedestal and making them some kind of hero is wrong in my judgement. They have a job and responsibility that they just happen to be good at. No more no less.

I retired from 21 years of military service and we all play our part in helping to keep our country free and safe. I'm not so sure we're doing all that great of a job keeping it safe with out foreign policies.

Lets not go overboard making someone out to he some sort of hero. Chris Kyle would still be alive today if he had not been so famous.
