Latest news:

Not good. The truck is totaled. After further review and inspection, there is around $18,000 in repairs. Since I hit smack on the the rim, it did all kinds of damage underneath. Luckily, I've been busy with work and have had a few days to think about it and let it go. So now I'm having to think about what i want next (GTI). However, I've found myself in the last few days having to go back and forth with the insurance company over how much they want to give me for the truck. :furious:

However, I may dip into a little of this money for the 'vert

I agree, then I got to look at the underneath of the truck yesterday and saw that hitting right on the axle did quite a bit of damage. Part of the quote was replacing the entire front axle. Today I went and wandered around the Dallas Auto Show to try and gauge my interest as to what to get next. Helped ease the pain a little :)
